As with most of the individuals who gave this app low ratings and negative reviews, I too am very disappointed in the current performance (🤔🤣) of the ticket scanner. I was so hopeful when I saw an update was available, but all it seems to have done is take up space. I don't understand how something can work nearly flawlessly for over a year and then just flake out, apparently never to work again. @NY Lottery, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE fix the scanner!

Like everyone else, the main use for this is the ticket scanner. It no longer seems to be working. It's been several months now and it says they're updating the ticket scanner. It's almost February 2022 now and it's still not working. Even before this, there were always issues. I have an android and if I didn't scan tickets for a while, I'd have to go to Settings, then Apps, then the NY Lottery App, clear the cache and force the app to stop. Then, when I went back into the app, the scanner would work. It was annoying, but at least I could get it to work. This is no longer the case. I'm still hoping the functionality comes back soon.

Had this app for well over a year (maybe two?) and able to scan tickets with no problem. Stopped working TWO MONTHS ago, saying that it was temporarily unable to connect to NY Lottery. I was patient; I work in IT and I know how things can get FUBAR and have to scramble to fix it. Tried it a week later. Two weeks later. A MONTH later. Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled several times; It's now been over two months not working--and the app really doesn't have ANY purpose other than to scan tickets. Really--who uses it for anything else??? If the primary purpose of your app stops working, you get your IT folks on it PRONTO. To have it not work for MONTHS on end is just flat out incompetent and unacceptable. Bad job, NY. Bad job.
